About Spongi

Spongi is an iPhone app for households that share chores: couples, roommates and families. It keeps the list, rotates the turns, sends the reminders and shows who does what, mental load included.

Who makes Spongi?

Spongi is made by Jesse de Jonge in the Netherlands. The app is available in English and Dutch. Questions, ideas or something that doesn’t work: support@spongi.app.

What we believe

• Fair isn’t 50/50 by count. A five-minute chore and planning the whole week don’t weigh the same.
• Nobody should have to be the nag. Reminding is work. An app can do that work.
• One subscription per household. Not per person, because Spongi only works when everyone is in.

Articles on this site are written by the Spongi team. When we cite a number, we link the source. We don’t invent statistics, reviews or user stories. When facts change, we update the article and you’ll see the new date. We mention Spongi only where it actually helps.
